    Just by having a hive on the White House lawn the president and first lady (who is the garden support) are expressing their concern and support for honeybees. I think that is the point. If one penny of my taxes supports the white house beehive ( and it is probably .000001 cents) I am glad for the publicity and support they receive. And they seem to be well cared for, also!
